The mission of the Local Connectivity Lab (LCL) is to facilitate community focused technology development and research in support of low-income, marginalized populations and groups. LCL is a non-profit that aims to work with communities to build sustainable community relations and to provide Internet to community via community networks maintained by the communities they serve.

The Seattle Community Network organizes a community-run tech help desk supported by the Black Brilliance Research Project's Digital Stewards Program. Our help desk is best-effort and mainly volunteer-based, so our availability may be highly variable. Our help desk hours are virtual for now, though we hope to add in-person hours in the near future. Click below to visit our community help desk calendar and view other community support options.
